Let's focus on a specific purpose.
"A life without a purpose is like a horse without a
bridle." This means a horse without a bridle can go wherever it wants
without control. But life cannot be made successful by wandering like that.
Today, many sons and daughters do not have a specific
purpose. Most people are like, "If you are born, you will end up in this
world." Because you don't have a specific purpose, you unknowingly condemn
life to darkness. You know very well that your primary goal in school
should be education, but most people focus on romantic relationships.
School-age love, which was limited to a love letter in the
past, today begins with going to a hotel room for two hours. You are not aware
of the possible damage to your life in such places. Some hoteliers secretly
take videos of your behavior in the hotel room and sell them on CDs. Otherwise,
the boyfriend keeps the photos or videos of his girlfriend secretly and uses
them to abuse the girl repeatedly. It is reported that actions such as
releasing these videos on the Internet, selling them to others, sending them to
parents or schools, claiming to do so and getting money, or selling the girl to
others, are constantly happening in society. This kind of behavior can
cause diseases like AIDS, gonorrhea, and underage pregnancy. Because of this,
being humiliated in society, having to finish school, your life becomes dark. Because
of these romantic relationships, school-aged children and young people are also
motivated to commit suicide or kill their girlfriend or boyfriend. The modern
trend in schools is for girls to fight for their own. In these conflicts, attempts
by one person to kill another person are also heard. Alcohol and drugs are
the other factors that destroy your life. Drug traffickers use very subtle
tricks to get you, the boys and girls, addicted to drugs. As a result of this,
your school friends, including you, who lead an aimless life, quickly become
victims of drugs. Also, your beautiful, precious life is lost due to risky
actions, fast driving, etc. Are not all these facts the results of sending the
mind wandering without a purpose and without properly understanding the value
of humanity? One whose mind is fixed on a singular purpose never leads his
life to darkness. Those who lead their lives on the right path, step towards
success, and make society a good and beautiful place are those who have tuned
their minds for a special purpose. They are constantly benefited by the
influence of universal energies. Every person born in this world should
have a unique purpose to improve their life and society. For this, one should
be able to understand one's strengths and abilities. Everything in today's
world has become smart. Services range from finding maps, operating home
machinery from the workplace, checking home security, and purchasing goods
through mobile phones. Although the mobile phone is smart, we have not made
our target activities smart. To tune the mind towards a specific goal, we need
to have a smart goal. "Step into a smart goal."
"S"-Specific
M=measurable
A-Achievable
R - Realistic
T - Time bound
Your purpose should be unique. It should never harm society
or oneself. Although it seems to be successful in achieving goals that are
harmful to society and oneself (e.g., making money from drugs), it may end up
causing great harm to society as well as spending the rest of one's life in
prison. Therefore, your purpose should be a good purpose that is good for
society and yourself. Your goal should be measurable. That is, you should
be able to divide your goal into different periods and measure how far you have
reached the goal. By measuring the progress of the activities that have been
done to reach the goal, it is possible to correct the shortcomings and achieve
the goal. Your goal should be achievable and realistic. Failure to do so
will expose you to unnecessary stress. A person who is incapable of mathematics
can never achieve success if he aims to become an engineer. You should identify
your own abilities and maintain your purpose accordingly. Next, you need
to set a specific time to achieve your goal. By making your goal smart
according to the above points, you will be able to achieve success. When you
tune in for a special purpose, you will not cause any harm to society or
yourself, and you will become a valuable person to society and
yourself. Finally, I will summarize what I have told you so far with a
poem by Ratna Sri Wijesingha.
Walking with love
Holding letters
Add a poemTo the school song:
You will be taken here.
Petal seeds
Go and plant.
Where you are
That's a gem.
The day the flowers bloom
The smell can be felt far away.
Where we are
May you all be able to shape your lives according to a
unique purpose to bloom the fragrant flowers far away.

Emptying and being second ----
A certain professor wanted to learn Zen. He found the best Zen teacher. When the professor went to meet Master Zen at his monastery, the master was pouring tea from a teapot into a cup. The teacher asked the professor to sit down and continue his work.
"Teacher, what you are doing is useless. No matter how hard you try, you can't fill the cup anymore. "Behold, the cup is overflowing and they are going to spill on the floor." Then the Zen teacher stopped what he was doing and said with a smile, "Professor, you are also doing a useless act." Because you have filled your mind with education, you are no longer able to learn anything new. If you want to learn something new, you have to empty your mind. " There are many lessons we can learn from these little stories. We are often filled with our education, official positions, power, etc. in our heads. Because of this, we are not able to learn new things. We look at society according to the viewpoints we have learned. Because of this, we see the events we hear and see in the traditional way. Many people can not create something new from it.
We can learn a lot from our own little children as well as from the society around us, from the people in our office, and from the service recipients who come to us. But we will not be able to learn anything new from any of these people as long as we are thinking of scholars and high officials. Not only that, we cannot enjoy the beauty of the environment or the uniqueness of a work of art. If we empty our minds, we can enjoy all this well. And because of emptying the mind, we can create new creations with fresh thoughts entering the mind. We are never ready to be second to others because we are filled with pride in our heads as learned, intelligent, and authoritative people. We lose the ability to listen to other people's opinions and the flexibility to learn from them. Because of this, many conflicts are triggered. We dismiss listening and being flexible as second nature to someone else. If people on both sides of the conflict are inflexible, the conflict will continue to escalate. This is why we should be second. Lord Buddha is the supreme person who exemplified flexibility. The best example of this is dating.
Lord Buddha, who went to his house to control his lover, went in and out of the house several times as per his orders. When the Buddha tried hard, he started asking questions. Alavaka was subdued by the Buddha's answers. Also, it is mentioned that the Lord Buddha visited the monasteries of other religions and engaged in friendly relations with them. It is said that the people of other faiths who enjoyed his company were waiting for the arrival of the Buddha. The Buddha never acted with dignity, thinking that he was the highest person in the world. Then you must now understand that being second in front of someone else is not a drop in your self-esteem. If you fill your head with your knowledge and wisdom, you will be able to tune your mind and enjoy the beauty of life.
